Welcome to the Headquarters of the Samurai Cop Self-Defense Academy. The Academy offers classes in self-defense for kids ages 7 years to 17 years of age.
The goal of the Samurai Cop Academy is to provide practical self-defense training for the youth in our communities. The courses are designed to help increase the students self-confidence level while learning to arm themselves with the knowledge and personal skills needed to be better prepared to face a physical confrontation.
Recruits preparing for testing, please note the following:
Open class training times have been set up to give you extra time to work on your testing techniques. They are all on Friday nights, from 7pm to 8:30pm and will have a senior Black Belt present to oversee the training. While he will be available to offer assistance and guidance, Testing Candidates are not to ask the Black Black to be their training partner for the evening. All Testing Candidates are required to bring a training partner with them for these Friday night training sessions (preferably, but not necessarily, your partner for the test itself).

Tuesday, Nov 16 at 6pm and 7:30pm

The following registration information applies to our Intermediate, Advanced and Black Belt Academy courses. For Basic and "The Bully & Me" classes, please contact the Costa Mesa Parks and Recreation Department at (714) 327-7525.
For classes beginning in 2011, registration fees must be received on or before the dates listed below. Late registration will result in a 10% administrative late fee added to registration fee(s). Failure to register on time may result in your child losing their position in the class.
Sessions with 1 class each week = $88
Sessions with 2 classes each week = $110
